Haverhill Green Communities Designation Approved; State Awards $314,505 to City

Funds to combat energy costs and climate change awarded to Haverhill.

Haverhill has officially achieved Green Communities designation! We’re committed to clean energy, reduced emissions & lower consumption— saving taxpayer dollars & doing our part to combat climate change. The state will award Haverhill $314,505 for projects working towards this goal.

Special shoutout to Mayor Jim Fiorentini & the City Council, especially Colin LePage, and the great folks over at the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission for this multi-year collaborative process with the state.
